Symptoms

• Second monitor black or "No Signal"

Solution

1. Check cables and input. Confirm the video cable (HDMI/DisplayPort/USB‑C) is firmly seated at both ends, and the monitor's input source matches the port used (monitor menu → Input → HDMI/DP/USB‑C). Try a different cable/port.
2. Wake/detect. Press Win + P and choose Extend (or Duplicate). Then Settings → System → Display → Multiple displays → Detect.
3. Power‑cycle the monitor. Turn it off/on; some monitors don't re‑detect after the PC sleeps.
